You wake up already tired, your neck locked — and the day hasn't even started.
A flat pillow leaves your neck hanging for eight hours, in a position your body never chose. The stiff mornings, the fatigue that drags on past noon, the mood that follows: it isn't your age. It's your pillow.
And there is the other problem, the one nobody mentions: the heat building up under your neck. You turn over, you hunt for the cool side, you shift your head. Every movement pulls you one step out of deep sleep — without you ever remembering it in the morning.
Two problems. One pillow.
The Restelya pillow settles both at once. Its ergonomic contour fills the hollow of your neck and keeps your spine in line — while its wide cooling 3D mesh side panels let air move through continuously and carry heat away instead of trapping it.
The result: you stop moving to escape the heat. You stay where you are, and your sleep stays deep.
Why no gel?
Because gel saturates. It gives an immediate cool sensation, spectacular at bedtime — then, after twenty or thirty minutes, it has absorbed all the heat it can hold and turns lukewarm like everything else. Which is to say, precisely when you wake up.
3D mesh does not cool in one burst: it vents continuously. Air circulates, heat and moisture escape, and the effect never runs out. Less impressive when you lie down. Far more useful at 3 a.m.
Height, before material
Most people choose a pillow by its fill. The available research points to a different deciding factor: height. Which is why this pillow offers two — just flip it over.
A higher side for sleeping on your side, where you need to fill the gap between shoulder and ear. A lower side for sleeping on your back, where there is no shoulder to compensate for.
Not sure which height you need? Our complete guide to choosing a pillow gives the benchmarks by position and the ten-second alignment test.
Give it three to ten nights
An ergonomic pillow changes the position of your neck. The first nights can feel odd: your muscles have settled into a bad position and need to readjust. Allow three to ten nights before judging.
That is exactly why we give you thirty.
What you get back
- Mornings without stiffness — your neck supported, never suspended
- No more shifting through the night — you stop hunting for the cool side, you stop turning over to escape the heat
- A cooling effect that lasts — air moves all night, not just the first twenty minutes
- Deeper sleep — fewer micro-wakings, the ones you never notice but that drain you
- Two heights — one side for side sleeping, one for back sleeping
Slow-rebound foam
What you cannot see is what matters, when you rest your face on it eight hours a night. The memory foam takes the shape of the hollow in your neck and finds it again every night, without flattening over the months the way fibre fills do.
Two colours
The sleeping surface is white and quilted in both cases. Only the mesh sides change: black for sharp contrast, grey for a quieter look.
